Terms and Conditions
Snowsports are inherently dangerous and can result in serious injury. Hokkaido Core Snow Sports, our agents, employees and other affiliated parties will not be held liable for any injuries or accidents occurring before, during or after our services have been provided. Hokkaido Core Snow Sports strongly recommends all guests are covered by appropriate winter sports travel insurance for medical care, evacuation and cover for unused lift passes, rental gear, and snowsports services.
Helmet Policy:
Hokkaido Core is committed to the safety and the promotion of safety within snowsports.
Guests aged 16 and under are required to wear a helmet whilst taking a lesson with Hokkaido Core. Older guests are encouraged to wear a helmet as well, but may choose whether to do so.
Guests of any age are required to wear a helmet when using any of the Niseko United gates.
Niseko United Gate Policy:
Guests are required to wear appropriate avalanche safety equipment when using any of the Niseko United gates. Guests of any age are required to wear a helmet when using any of the Niseko United gates.
Hokkaido Core Instructors will have final decision on which areas to use in the case of powder guiding, this is based on factors such as; guest ability level, current weather conditions, snow conditions, resort rules, advice from ski patrol/avalanche reports and Hokkaido Core policy.
Avalanche safety kits can be rented for an additional fee.
Cancellations & Refunds:
Up to 30 days before booking - full refund minus merchant fees incurred.
15-29 days before booking - 50% refund minus merchant fees incurred.
0-14 days before booking - non-refundable.
Cancellation due to full lift closure - reschedule or full refund minus merchant fees.
Safety and Snow Conditions
Hokkaido Core cannot be held responsible for snow conditions or weather. Lessons and powder guiding will run as scheduled based on the above cancellation policy.
Guests must follow directions from Hokkaido Core Instructors and staff at all times while on lessons or powder guiding. If a guest’s actions result in creating issues with safety, resort rules or are detrimental to other guest, Hokkaido Core and it’s staff reserve the right to cancel a booking with no refund.
